A sprinkle of design

“I hadn’t worked with a client before so I was a little nervous, but as a student entering the industry I was eager to use my skills in a more professional way and share my work. After understanding the brief and beginning the flow I found myself enjoying bringing the design to life. I was excited to be working on something both unique and meaningful.” says Artemisia (Missy) Walcott.

It may have helped that Missy had worked for us over the last couple of years during University holidays, so knew our ingredients well.

Missy mentioned to our Marketing Manager of her passion for animation and design, currently studying for her Bachelors of Screen Arts in Animation. You can see Missy’s work on her Instagram page. This was perfect timing, as we were looking for a designer to create complimentary graphics to pair with our new logo, which we could add to our merchandise. It was important to us that the design felt created with care - after all, that’s how we feel we make our products.

We started with a list of ingredients, and a few examples of how they might look. From there we narrowed down the options and landed on the level of detail we were happy with. The final step was arranging the ingredients around our new logo, created by Cicala Design. Missy and Stephen Cicala worked together to massage the final pieces into place.

A huge thank you to both Missy and Stephen for our gorgeous new branding. We hope you all like it as much as we do.

Have any thoughts? We'd love you to get in touch!
